• Year 6 - VE Day
  Year 6 have celebrated VE Day today in class today. We designed our own medals, wrote prayers and listened to music from the 1940's
• Reception Class - VE Day
  Reception have enjoyed learning about VE Day and organised their own street party. Well done to our Reception Class.
• Year 3 - VE Day
  Year 3 History Super Learning Day - VE Day Year 3 loved learning all about World War II today for the 80th anniversary of VE day. The children also participated in the two minute silence.
• Year 4 - Live Assembly from St Peter’s Square
  Year 4 took part in a powerful live assembly from St Peter’s Square in Rome, learning about the papacy and praying for our future pope. A truly memorable faith experience!
• Year 2 - VE Day
  Year 2 learned about the end of World War II in Europe today. The children enjoyed different activities and paid their respect with 2 minutes of silence
• House Meetings
  We met in our House Groups this morning to celebrate the life of Pope Francis. We looked at a letter he had written to say why we are all special and all chosen by Jesus.
• Holy Week Mass
  Year 1 led a wonderful Mass celebration this morning as we prepare ourselves during Holy Week.
• Science Week
  We couldn't do it last week, but as part of our Science week, Year 6 completed a lamb's heart dissection today. We cut open the hearts to find the atriums and the ventricles. We looked at the aorta and the veins too
• Year 4 Music
  Year 4 had a lovely music lesson this morning in class. Well done Year 4! You played beautifully
• Science Week at St John Fisher School
  Key Stage 2 have had a fascinating morning with the Science Show learning all about forces! What a brilliant start to science week!
