• Year 5 Computing - Halloween
  A Halloween afternoon web quest for Year 5 today. The children have searched the WWW to find answers to amazing Halloween questions. Well done children.
• Wednesday Word
  Our chaplains present the week's weekly podcast of the Wednesday Word.
• Year 4 Computing - Stop Frame Animation
  Last animation lesson this term for Year 4. Today the children used the app I Can Animate to successfully create wonderful animations. Learning such skills as FPS, onion skinning and uploading to Seesaw.
• Year 1 Computing - Emojis
  Year 1 Computing lesson was wonderful this morning. The children have been predicting the meaning of different emojis. They have been learning what different feelings look like and have made their own emojis to match their facial feelings
• Reception Class Computing - Passcodes
  What a great afternoon with our wonderful Reception Class. This term they have learnt Home Button, Screen, App and Swipe. Today our children have learnt the iPad Passcode too. Well done Reception Class.
• Year 5 Balloon Stickies+
  Year 5 had a super busy afternoon in Computing. The children worked very hard on their class topic by making a speech bubble picture with the features of a river. Two Kahoots, one about rivers and another about Halloween. Well done to all winners.
• Year 4 Computing - ChatterPix
  An amusing Computing afternoon in Year 4. The children have made their very own silly ChatterPix. They are also collecting facts about Middleton, ready to put into their Balloon Stickies + app next week. Well done Year 4.
• Laudato Si
  Hannah has been hosting Laudato SI dance week in St. John Fisher RC Primary School. This morning Reception Class went for their session with the theme ‘care for our common home, looking after the world around us’.
• Year 4 East Lancashire Railway School Trip
  As part of our topic 'Where I Live: Greater Manchester' and to link with our class text 'The Primrose Railway Children', we went on a steam train journey from Bury to Rawtenstall.
• UK Parliament Assembly
  The KS2 children learned about the House of Commons and the House of Lords and how laws are made.
