As part of our topic 'Where I Live: Greater Manchester' and to link with our class text 'The Primrose Railway Children', we went on a steam train journey from Bury to Rawtenstall.
We used maps and discussed the different features of the villages and towns.
We then went to the transport museum and learned about how transport has developed over time.
The children behaved beautifully and really enjoyed the trip.
Well done Year 4!
